I woke up at about 5.30am to prepare for school. Michelle and I had breakfast before Helle drove us to Heidi's kindergarten where we took a sneak peek around. The toddlers and children were so cute! But we didn't get to take any pictures. We walked to Malling Skole from the kindergarten with Mille taking the lead (she walks so fast, Michelle and I were running to catch up).
We met Tina at Malling Skole who gave us a tour around the school. We also met Per, the vice-principal who talked to us about the school system. We walked around the school that schooled students from grade 1 to grade 9. We got a chance to sit in Tina's class. I went into a lower primary English class with kids of age 5 and a half to 8 years old.

After school, we decided to make a second trip to the supermarket! Along the way, we saw some sights.
A cinema called BIO that is similar to Golden Village in Singapore, but smaller in size. Each ticket costs 85 Danish Kroner which is about 13 Singapore Dollars (expensive right??!!)
Michelle bought mini Christmas ornaments from this thrift shop.
Our second trip to the supermarket
I found this gem while browsing through the supermarket. They have chili sauce!
Thank God! Can't live without the spicy food!
After dinner, Helle brought us to the house of Heidi's and Mille's nanny when they were younger. The nanny's name is also Helle! (it's a common name in Denmark, there are 2 or 3 teachers in Malling Skole named Helle too). Her house is so decorated and ready for Christmas!

Michelle and I decided to prepare our lunch for the next day and we had our first cooking session in Malling!
Michelle preparing her carrots and me stirring my soup.
The final products:
Seafood soup
Mashed potatoes with shredded carrots
Proud achievements in a foreign land! We turned in for bed and await for more adventures to come.
