1/12 Maarslet (7/52)

To begin, here's the breakfast that Ms Sussi prepared! There's 2 carrots, 1 celery, 1 apple and 2 sandwiches!

I don't take selfie often, but that's because I decided not to cycle, but walk to school instead. That's so much better and less tiring for me in the morning. Nice weather, and beautiful scenes :)

I have no lessons in the day, so there was only consultation with Ms Britta to clarify my understandings about Maarslet School and the Danish Education System. It was such an intensive experience, and there were so many to learn!

There is only English and Geography lessons in the afternoon at 1.45 and 2.30pm, and here's a show and tell activity by the students in the English class!

Tuesday was also a special day for me, because the international coordinators from Malling and Maarslet also initiated for a joint meeting with the host families and ourselves in Malling School! After class, I have to rush back home because Ms Sussi had to drive me to Malling School. During the meeting, we discussed some important matters as well as a brief forecast of some important dates ahead of us, including an international conference day for all overseas budding teachers completing their practicum in Denmark, which is expected to take place in January!

According to Ms Tina, there are also some beautiful Christmas lighting outside Malling School. Ms Sussi decided to bring me out to take a look! Here's how one of the apartments decorated its lighting! Really nice one!

Even though it was 5pm when I reached home, I was consumed by exhaustion and slept through the next morning until 3am to complete the lit review of my thesis which is due on Wednesday. So many assignments to complete... sigh. But when I went to the kitchen the next morning, here's what I saw... Haha Ms Sussi bought so many cup noodles just for me... Sigh, this is too nice of her to do that...

Shall resume my thesis!
