8/12 Maarslet (13/52)

It is Week 2, 8/12 at Maarslet today! Let's start the day with a picture of my breakfast :) There is a pack of yoghurt, a piece of bread, half an apple and 3 pieces of sandwiches!

My tuesday are usually free, except in the afternoon, which I have classes. Ms Britta has arranged for me to observe a Primary 3 English Class to understand how it works. Here is one of the class activity: A sing-and-dance along session!

You can see that their lesson is integrated with ICT. Many students are evidently responding to what they have seen and heard in the video! Look at their enthused participation!

Thereafter, they have a get-together activity, where they will sing along and hop together as a class! An interesting experience for me to understand how the primary-school section of Maarslet School works!

Here is lunch for today! We have Salad on the left, and Denmark curry on the right! (That's right it is curry chicken again, and I just dont get sick of it!)

Here's how their curry chicken looks like from the inside. You can see that the stallholder is really generous with the amount of chicken inside the dish!

Ms Mette is not present for English class today and a substitute teacher came into 7A to give assignment to the students. Otherwise, it is another observation for 8C where students have to prepare their Geography Presentation on Volcano, Earthquake and Tsunami, which is due after the Christmas Break.

I went back home and for dinner today, we have frozen prawns and salad for dinner!

I also had the opportunity to try their Danish pasta, which is shaped so uniquely! (Reminded me of Mee Hoon Kuey you find in Singapore) Inside each pasta is cheese, so you can imagine how good it really tastes! Oh, Ms Sussi served bread too!

After dinner, there was dessert, and Ms Sussi and Klaus served tea and biscuits :)

Oh, there is something special too, here's one of the snack that tasted so good! It taste like Egg Tart you find in Singapore! But of course, in the following snack, you will find lots of butter and cream inside, and so it tasted perfect :)

What a long and awesome day; looking forward to more exciting adventures tomorrow!
