7/12 Maarslet (12/52)

Today in Maarslet School is special! I forgot to take a picture of my breakfast! But they were just some leftover bacon from Ms Sussi's brunch party! The day started off with History lesson from Class 6B. It was mainly project work and the class was working in groups and using Kahoot to create 10 different questions and answers. It is expected that Mr Mads will go through these questions with the class during the next lesson. An interesting way for them to learn what they have been taught!

After the 1/2 hr break, it was English with 6B! However, Mr Mads could not attend as he has a course. A substitute teacher came in, and the class sang Christmas carol. Here is a short clip; I am sure they had a lot of fun! :)

Thereafter, I had a presentation on Singapore with Class 7A! It was a class who was proficient in English, and we really had an interesting debate on the liveability of Singapore.

I was quite hungry when I returned home, so I cooked Instant Ramen Noodles which i bought 1 week ago from the Supermarket! It was yummyyyyy!

Tonight was a special night for our family too! Ms Sussi has arranged a family dinner with our neighbours living upstairs! Glad that they were so hospitable and the children were having lots of fun! Here's the table set.

Here's Malus who is posing for the camera! Malus and Josephina share a close relationship because they always play together :)

The host family knew how much I missed Singapore food, so they cooked Curry Chicken! It was close to ones we find in Singapore, but still it was so good and I ate so much! :)

Oh, did I tell you? They served me white wine too :)

It was a mini pot-luck session too! Ms Sussi made some delicious salad and shared with the family. Here's how it looks like!

And here's my plate of food. Haha :) I took a lot because I was really hungry...

Thereafter, it was dessert time! Look at what they have prepared! Some chocolate biscuit, coated with coconut flakes!

Ms Sussi also brought some home-made biscuits too!

And as part of my weekly project to share with the family some Singaporean snacks, I brought along Pineapple Tarts! Here's how it looks like!

Here's Maus having his 4th Pineapple Tart, oh no... He loves it the pineapple tarts so much!

Here's the a group picture with the host family and our neighbours! Glad that it was fun and the food and company was awesome!

That is all for tonight my friends :)
