It is Ms Sussi's birthday today! As part of her birthday celebration, she organised a brunch, and invited her parents, her brother, his wife and two children and her boyfriend Klaus and his two little daughters. Hence, including Ms Sussi, there are 13 people who turned up for her birthday celebration! I had the duty of laying the table and food! Look at the occassion! If you will notice, there are Danish flags everywhere, and this is part of the Danish tradition: When it is someone's birthday or if there is a happy occasion in the family, they will put the Danish flags around the house and on the table! I am sure if I put Singapore flags around during my birthday, people will think that I am weird. Haha, what a unique tradition!
Here's my plate of food! There is bread, eggs, tomato, and a marinated herring fish! Of course, there are other food, like salad, sausages, ham and bacon as well! I haven eaten them, but I didn't take a picture of it... (Forgive me, I was too hungry)
Oh look at how sweet Ms Sussi's children are! Klau and his family bought Ms Sussi an Iphone 6! His son, Alexander, gave her a box of written 'promises', so Ms Sussi can use this promises any time. Some examples include, 'going out for a run', or 'listen to whatever you say', etc. There are 10 promises in total! Josephina gave Ms Sussi a special card too! Well, I bought beverage coasters with logos of Singapore for Ms Sussi and she was so surprised that I gave her something!
In the afternoon, I was doing laundry for my clothes!
In between the day, I was doing my reflections too, but here's my dinner to end the post! Ms Sussi prepared sweet and sour cod fish with tomato, onion and other sauces! I was surprised at the bones in the cod fish I found in the cod fish. Otherwise, it is a good dish!
